Is It Worth Registering For Taskrabbit
Just don't!
You lot become charged for something, that you lot didn't desire in the first place and the customer support ignores your claim and sends yous the same nonsensical templates.
I hired someone with a "five star" rating
I hired someone with a "5 star" rating to do diverse small jobs at my home, the near important of which was to rehang a shelf and clothes bar in my closet that had fallen downward.
Sometime after he left, I put my pants back on the clothes bar and it instantly collapsed. I texted him about coming dorsum and he said he wouldn't be able to return until the following week (4 days afterward) at 8 in the am. I made the appt and at 9 am on that day, he still wasn't here. At that place was no text or cal well-nigh a filibuster or inability to come. I reached out and he said he wasn't going to be able to make it until three pm that mean solar day. At four pm, he still wasn't here and never showed up.
I'm an interior designer and accepted to people performing quality work and honoring their commitments. This was a thoroughly unprofessional and shocking experience. I felt completely ripped off and without recourse.
I submitted a complaint to Task Rabbit, but no response. Manifestly, no response is a company broad policy.
Needless to say, I will never use this service again. I would give it a zero rating but that's not an option.
High Fee, No Transparency
Task Rabbit use to charge a 7.5% fee just now information technology'south $twenty.47/hr which yous only see when you get to the end to confirm. So for a one-hour $58 chore, they charged $78.74, a 35% fee! Nowhere on their website did I come across the fee, merely an explanation of why they charge one. Will not be using them once more.
Read the fine print…
The tasker totally covered up the heating vent in my bedroom with the hardwood floors I paid him to install. This company has a " customer Happiness" policy. Just, if you read the fine print they are basically making you responsible for whatever negligence of their Tasker's. It goes a piddling something like this. First, you volition need to written report whatever problem or negligence by the Tasker, if you can get in touch with someone. I was on concord for xxx long minutes before someone finally answered the telephone. Second, yous volition need to find 3 companies to give you quotes for the damages. Third, you are to file an insurance claim with your homeowners insurance. Last, you are to pay for the work and they will reimburse you a percentage. No customer can ever exist happy with such a policy. By the fourth dimension you realize this ridiculous policy is in play, they've already been paid and so has the Tasker. That, ladies and gentlemen is what you call a scam
Beware: Tasker Scraped Our Car and Task Rabbit Refuses to Help
When the tasker finally arrived (after rescheduling a number of times) he tried to park in our driveway and hit and scraped our parked car. Task Rabbit refuses to aid or to give u.s. the Tasker'southward insurance data. It would have been meliorate to hire a local handyman rather than go through Chore Rabbit since the company refuses to assistance and we don't have the Tasker's contact details.
Very bad experience. Not professional person at all.
Very bad experience. Subsequently booking more than a calendar week in advance, they cancel the weekend just earlier their planned intervention monday 8am, without alibi except that no ane is available...
To abscond.
terrible will accuse y'all way more…
terrible will charge y'all way more than they initially charge you when y'all book them. sent an email no reply called the number on hold for 30 min. going to call my credit card company
Jayson did a groovy job of weeding my…
Jayson did a great job of weeding my brother's hillside in a short time. Both owners are elderly and could no longer handle this job. My brother was very satisfied and I was quite happy with the ease of setting this project up and with the professional style Jayson communicated his questions/concerns with me. I do program to call Jayson back in the fall for routine maintenance. Thanks Jayson!!
We had a large TV mounted on the wall…
We had a large Tv set mounted on the wall by a very proficient technician. Very conscientious and courteous. We were able to schedule the job with a short notice.
Task Rabbit saved my salary and a LOT of $$$
Chore rabbit saved my salary and a LOT of money. I live in Georgia and I won some tap handles at a brewery auction in California. The "pack and ship" companies I contacted wanted a pile of coin to put em in a box and UPS them to me. I striking upwardly Job Rabbit (get-go fourth dimension user) found a Tasker and he was able to option upwards the handles, wrap em, pack em and transport them to me.
It was so easy to do, I'll definitely utilize information technology again.
Taskrabbit was a Hit
John was super helpful!! He got both jobs done all by himself. He was very kind and efficient. I'll definitely exist booking once again.
No No No
No No No. We rescheduled with chore rabbit to selection up two small dressers, ane desk, small bookshelf and small nightstand. The offset driver canceled and we scheduled with another driver. Goodwill didn't accept them, and they said that they don't accept furniture. Driver told me that he volition dump them all effectually $55 but he wasn't sure exactly how much it is. I thought it's going to exist max $100. Then I received the invoice $281.77 and as well they charged my credit card $threescore. What is going on? I don't recommend chore rabbit at all.
Job Rabbits are terrific.
Job Rabbits are always on time and work hard, carefully, and seem to know what they are doing. And everyone of them has been friendly merely professional. Tin can't enquire for more than that!
Job was well washed
Chore was well done, friendly demeanor. Only super expensive- I had a 45 infinitesimal job with not besides heavy stuff, low mileage - and it was a 2 hour minimum for both mover and helper. Will seek other less expensive resource.
